On 26.10.2023, the IX All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation «Medical Tourism: problems and prospects» was held at Volgograd State Medical University, which was attended by Alexandra Smaga, Deputy Chief Physician for the medical part of the GAU KSP 12, and Victoria Gennadievna Tumanova, a public relations specialist.

On 27.10.2023, the Project clinics held B2B negotiations with medical tourism agents at the University site. A more substantive conversation took place, contacts were exchanged, agreements on cooperation were reached.

Clinic No. 12 is the winner of the Med Travel Leaders competition.

Yesterday, December 7, as part of the business program of the largest exhibition of medical and
wellness tourism «Medtravel Expo-2021» in
Moscow summed up the results of the All-Russian Med Travel Leaders competition.

Our clinic was recognized as the leader of the Southern Federal District in the nomination «The best
dental website in English».

The competition was held for the first time and united 70 subjects of the Russian Federation — active participants of the federal project «Development of export of medical services».
The Volgograd region has become the leader in the number of awards among the regions.
From December 6 to 9, Moscow hosts the exhibition of medical and wellness tourism «MedTravelEhro-2021».

The participants of the project «Treatment in Volgograd» presented their possibilities of helping
patients at the two-day Global Medical Tourism Summit within the framework of the exhibition.

GAUZ «Clinical Dental Polyclinic No. 12» was founded in 1959. Currently GAUZ KSP No. 12 is a powerful dental institution that provides highly qualified dental care to the population of the city of Volgograd and the Volgograd region.

Since 2008, the institution has been headed by the chief physician Stavskaya Svetlana Vladimirovna, Candidate of Medical Sciences, dentist of the highest qualification category in the specialties «Health Organization and public health» and «Pediatric Dentistry», chief freelance pediatric specialist dentist of the Health Committee of the Volgograd region, associate Professor of the Department of Dentistry INMFO of the Volgograd State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

From 2021 to the present, the post of chief physician has been occupied by Tumanova Angelika Viktorovna. She graduated from the Volgograd State Medical Institute in 1991 with a degree in Dentistry. He has a certificate of a specialist in the specialty «Healthcare organization and public health», a certificate of a specialist in the specialty «Therapeutic Dentistry», the highest qualification category in the specialty «Therapeutic Dentistry».

In the orthopedic department of GAUZ «Clinical Dental Polyclinic No. 12», due to the presence of its own dental laboratory equipped with modern equipment, even the most complex orthopedic constructions are performed. Restoration of teeth and dentition to patients is carried out with removable and fixed prostheses using CAD / CAM technologies and prosthetics on implants.

Dentists-surgeons perform a full range of outpatient operations for surgical methods of treating destructive forms of periodontitis, removal of retained teeth using ultrasound equipment, surgical methods for treating periodontal diseases and preparation for orthopedic treatment using MIS (Israel) and Ankylos (Germany) implants. Guided bone regeneration GBR and bone grafting are performed using autogenous and synthetic materials.

Doctors-dentists-therapists carry out ultrasonic professional oral hygiene, artistic restoration of teeth, treatment of periodontal diseases using plasma-lifting techniques, as well as modern splinting structures.
